GS1 is a not-for-profit organisation that develops and maintains global standards for business communication, GS1 HK is their Hong Kong branch.
GS1 manages several types of barcodes(GTIN, Global Trade Item Number, including UPC, EAN & ISBN). GTINs acquired from official channel is valid throughout the world.

Companies with valid Hong Kong business registration certificate(HK BR) may apply GS1 HK membership and you will be able to:

Upload internal SKU info to GS1’s Barcode Plus system through SoldEazy, and generate GTINs(UPC/ EAN) for your SKUs.
Retrieve GTIN info from Barcode Plus system through SoldEazy and fill in your local datasheets or product master info.
Synchronize your changes to eBay

How to add existing GS1 Hong Kong membership info

1. GS1 HK member ship application

SoldEazy does not charge extra fees during the application process, companies successfully applied for membership only needs to pay entrance fee and annual fee, please see details below

Steps for application:
Log in to SoldEazy, go to Channel > Sales Channel > GTIN Channel > GS1 Membership Profile

Click Apply Now! or Fill in Application form

Fill in the application form, accept GS1 HK user agreement and submit

Submit the application form and go back to GS1 Membership profile page, you can monitor the status of your application here.

If you see a green approved next to STATUS, it means your application is approved.

2. Generate GTINs for your product SKUs and fill in the local datasheets and product master list

After receiving approval of membership application from GS1 HK, you can log in to SoldEazy, generate GTINs for your product SKUs.

Log in to SoldEazy, go to Channel > GTIN Channel > GTIN Details Upload

Click GTIN upload ，you can upload your internal SKU information to GS1 HK’s Barcode Plus system on this page.

**The GTIN Details file demo file here is an excel sheet with only demo information, if you would like to fill in the excel according to GTIN requirements as fast as possible, please go to Inventory > Product Master > Product Maintenance

Select the SKUs you want to export, click Export

Choose the format you that would fit the GTIN(UPC or EAN) format required, click Export

Edit the exported excel, make sure all columns required are filled, then go back to GTIN details upload page, upload your excel to Barcode Plus system through SoldEazy.

D：Status of file uploading, not the final result of SKU info uploading, you can only know the detailed final result in part B

**It takes at least half an hour to show the result for uploading each excel file

Click Upload Results to see the result of previous actions

A：company ID distributed by GS1 HK
B：Click Detail to download the latest 20 files uploaded to Barcode Plus system and check the detailed result of every SKU.
Fill in datasheets and product master list in bulk

When you confirmed the file is uploaded successfully, and the SKU info are updated in Barcode Plus system successully, you can now fill in the local datasheets and product master list in SoldEazy with your newly generated GTINs in bulk.
- Fill in datasheets in bulk
  Log in to SoldEazy, go to Listing > Datasheet > Datasheet Maintenance , choose the datasheets that you want to fill GTINs in.
  
  When you have chosen the datasheets that need to be modified, click the EDIT button in bulk action buttons on the bottom of this page, choose，choose Retrieve GTIN from GS1 , Click Update & SYNC 」will update both your datasheets and eBay listings, if you do not need to synchronize changes to eBay at the moment, you can choose to only Update
  
  **If you haven't uploaded SKU info to Barcode Plus system in advance, when you see the bulk job is completed successfully, it really does not mean any change in the datasheet.
- Fill in product master list in bulk
  Log in to SoldEazy, go to Inventory > Product Master > Product Maintenance
  
  Choose the SKU items that need to be modified, click Retrieve GTIN from GS1 button
